  • What was your career dream when you chose your studies?

My career dream was to find a job that would allow me to travel and represent my country or the EU.

  • What did you finally achieve?

After my studies at the ULB-IEE Institute of European Studies, I had the opportunity to work as a trainee at the DG President’s Office of the European Parliament. Later, I succeeded in a public competition and currently work as a Policy Officer at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • What advice would you give to young graduates?
I would suggest to young graduates to be patient, because finding your dream job and fulfilling yourself a professionally and humanly can take time. That is why it is important to enjoy each professional experience as much as possible and try to give your best even when your current job does not reflect your ambitions.
